Working principle and maintenance of blacksmith power hammer

Everyone must be familiar with the blacksmith power hammer. It is a free forging equipment. It is mainly composed of the body, transmission mechanism, compression cylinder and working cylinder, compression piston, descending part, gas distribution mechanism, anvil, etc. The working principle and maintenance of the air hammer are suitable for various free forgings such as stretching, upsetting, punching, shearing, forging welding, twisting, bending, etc., and can be used for various free die forgings.

Working principle of blacksmith power hammer:

When the blacksmith power hammer is working, the compressed gas in the compression cylinder enters the working cylinder, causing the hammer rod in the working cylinder to reciprocate up and down, so that the hammer head can realize the work of forging parts. The working principle and maintenance of the air hammer Through the continuous movement and flipping of the workpiece by the worker, the workpiece is deformed freely in all directions, and finally processed into a product that meets the requirements. It has functions such as cutting, punching, forging, etc., and is widely used in the production of various forgings.

Blacksmith power hammer maintenance precautions:

In order to make the air hammer more efficient in serving the majority of manufacturers and customers, Anduan recommends that you perform maintenance from the following aspects:

1. Always pay attention to the oil level of the gearbox under the piston cylinder to ensure that the gears can contact the lubricating oil during operation;

2. Use appropriate lubricating oil, but choose oil of different viscosities according to temperature changes;

3. Make sure there is an appropriate amount of oil in the oil pump to ensure that the liquid level is not lower than the lower oil mark. Working principle and maintenance of pneumatic hammer Before starting the hammer, you must pull the oil pump handle several times to let the lubricating oil flow into the oil cylinder before you can start the hammering and wear;

4. Please check the oil circuit regularly for leakage and check whether the oil cup at the top of the oil pump is dripping normally;

5. Before forging, please check whether the anvil, lead block and other parts are loose;

6. After forging, all exposed bolts should be checked again. If they are loose, they should be tightened in time;

7. According to your usage, it is generally recommended to replace the oil in the gearbox every 3-6 months.
